Statment:
"Currently, I have been interested in stepping out of the traditional schemes. I have worked in series, which has allowed me to delve deeper into things that interest me: focusing on color in one, and using a more limited palette in another. The result is an effect-oriented treatment, but closely tied to the composition of the focused element, defined, conceptualized, yet always from a very photorealistic aesthetic. The theme of insularity has been a constant in my pieces, it is what unites the entire aesthetic of my landscape and this series of reflections, fragments of forms in the water. Essentially, the sea and water have always been there, and now I can see a whole world in this series of specters that form, unstable, unrepeatable shapes that I capture and freeze from reality. It is a surface that reflects another reality. In terms of solutions, the gestural aspect of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism will be crucial for the realization of the artistic process."
