Mónica González (1991), a Cuban art historian based in Miami, Florida, earned her undergraduate degree in Art History in Havana, Cuba, and pursued advanced studies with a Master's degree in Art History at the University of Barcelona, Spain, where she also began her Doctorate in Art. She has worked at the Museum of Modernism in Barcelona and others galleries in the same city. González has participated in various international events, such as Choice Paris and Collector Weekend at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, France (2016), as well as the exhibition "Kcho, Todos los caminos" at the Louis Carré Gallery in Paris. Additionally, she was involved in the preparation and installation of the exhibition "HÖHENRAUSCH" at the Linz Art Center in Austria, hosted at the Kulturquartier in 2018. González has contributed to projects such as the exhibition presented by Kcho as part of the 59th Venice Biennale, two editions of the Havana Biennial, and the personal exhibition of Kcho organized by the National Museum of Fine Arts of Cuba (2020-2021).
